It’s the Voter’s Fault!!!!

March 14, 2009

demlicansI am getting really sick of hearing how the American voter really screwed up by putting BO in the White House.  As you all may know, I pretty much despise BO’s agenda and what he’s doing.   But, I’m getting real tired of hearing how the stupid American voter made such a disastrous choice.

The fact of the matter is that the American voter hasn’t had a good choice for president since the 80’s!  Don’t blame the average citizen, blame the parties and the system for such spectacularly bad candidates.

When our choices are as bad as these, what does it matter?

Stupid Democrats To Stimulate Illegal Aliens With 300,000 Jobs

February 9, 2009

From No Sheeples Here!

The Senate’s stimulus bill, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, could supply 300,000 construction jobs to illegal aliens, effectively sending taxpayer funds to Mexico and other countries, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. The Center’s studies have previously estimated that 15 percent (one out of every seven) of the nation’s construction workers are illegal immigrants.

The Senate version under consideration provides $104 billion, that’s billion with a B, in government funding for new construction projects including highways, schools and restoration of public housing—to generate jobs for some of the 11.1 million unemployed Americans.

However, unlike the House version introduced by Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), and approved by the House and for which every Republican voted NO, the Senate bill would not prohibit several hundred thousand illegal aliens from acquiring those jobs and sending the money back to their native countries, in most cases that would be the lovely sewer known as Mexico.

The Senate does not include the E-Verify stipulation to ensure only Americans receive the new jobs.

The House of Representatives version strictly prohibits contractors from hiring employees without first checking the e-Verify system, which allows employers to verify whether potential employees are authorized to work in this country. Advocates for illegal immigration attacked the House version and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus sent House leaders a letter urging them to remove the requirement from the final bill.

“Since a large portion of the stimulus is concentrated in Hispanic dominated industries, transportation and construction, this provision will have an enormous impact on our community,” the letter stated. “Foreign-born American citizens are thirty times more likely than native born workers to be incorrectly identified as ineligible for work.”

Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Ben Nelson (D-NE) sent Senate leadership (Harry “I’ve got hemorrhoids and that’s why I look so damned ugly” Reid and Nancy “The Village Idiot” Pelosi) a letter pleading for them to include E-Verify in the stimulus bill to guarantee that the new positions will be filled by U.S. citizens.

The request for inclusion of that requirement makes sense because the stimulus package is intended to stimulate the American economy and create job for Americans and not for ingrates who flip us the “bird” or grab their crotches in defiance of a nation whose good-heartedness has been egregiously abused for decades.

The Sessions-Nelson letter states, “The stimulus package is intended to help ease the pain of the current recession and restore growth to our economy. If passed, it will be paid for by the American taxpayers and we believe that Congress should do all it can to ensure that American taxpayers are the intended beneficiaries of its efforts.”

John Cornyn Blocks Shrillary!

January 20, 2009

Cornyn is the man!

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said he wanted “a full and open debate and an up-or-down vote on Sen. Clinton’s nomination.”

He said important questions remain unanswered concerning the foundation headed by former President Bill Clinton “and its acceptance of donations from foreign entities. Transparency transcends partisan politics and the American people deserve to know more.”

Why the Mortgage Crisis Happened

January 16, 2009

The best analysis of why the melt-down happened-

“The narrative is of another socialist experiment failed, this time a massive federal effort, imperiling the whole US banking industry. Facing this economic disaster, will an informed American people put their trust Obama’s socialist ideology to bring remedy? To do so is to trust in an acetylene torch to put out the fire.”

Altas is Shrugging

January 14, 2009

Many of us who know Rand’s work have noticed that with each passing week, and with each successive bailout plan and economic-stimulus scheme out of Washington, our current politicians are committing the very acts of economic lunacy that “Atlas Shrugged” parodied in 1957, when this 1,000-page novel was first published and became an instant hit.

The current economic strategy is right out of “Atlas Shrugged”: The more incompetent you are in business, the more handouts the politicians will bestow on you. That’s the justification for the $2 trillion of subsidies doled out already to keep afloat distressed insurance companies, banks, Wall Street investment houses, and auto companies — while standing next in line for their share of the booty are real-estate developers, the steel industry, chemical companies, airlines, ethanol producers, construction firms and even catfish farmers. With each successive bailout to “calm the markets,” another trillion of national wealth is subsequently lost. Yet, as “Atlas” grimly foretold, we now treat the incompetent who wreck their companies as victims, while those resourceful business owners who manage to make a profit are portrayed as recipients of illegitimate “windfalls.”

Lies Of The Auto Industry

December 9, 2008

I’m tired of the lies… The lies of the media and scum-bag politicians and the general American idiot. I’m tired of hearing how GM, Ford and Chrysler put themselves in this mess and are solely to blame. The truth of the matter is that it’s mostly BS.

The Big Lie: “If they had made cars people wanted, they would be okay now.”

1) ALL car companies are hurting! China and India’s government are propping up their car manufacturers right now. Fiat is desperately looking to merge to survive. European manufacturers are shedding workers, idiling and closing factories to survive. Even the japanese, who have been making the ‘right cars‘ all along are hurting! They have unsold cars piling up and they are scared. I haven’t heard but, I’m sure there’s been negotiations all over the world for government assistance.

2) American auto makers have made the ‘right cars’ since their inception. There has not been a time in American history where Americans could not buy a fuel efficient car! Heck, American Motors made it their niche making small fuel efficient cars and where did it land them? Even as AMC floundered, you could buy compact Corvairs, Falcons and Darts. In the gas guzzling 70’s, you could sip gas with Vegas, Pintos and Colts. In the 80s & 90s, Chevettes, Escorts and many more fuel efficient models were freely available to Americans. NEVER has American car makers FORCED the public to buy large fuel inefficient cars. The problem is that Americans (and the rest of the world) prefer large vehicles. Might I point out that even the ‘right car’ makers are in desperate times now.

Lie #2: If American executives weren’t so greedy, the company would have more money.

Granted, I believe that people in business now care more about lining their nests and pillaging what they can get than what is best for the company or it’s customers, the real problem is that it’s ALL EMPLOYEES! Monopolies are bad. ALL MONOPOLIES! Unions are monopolies! Unions have a monopoly on labor and they unfairly drive up the cost of goods. Unions may have had a place 100years ago when workers were being shot by company thugs but nowadays, when a worker can sue for getting a paper cut on the job, they have no place!

American car companies had unions forced on them by labor laws. They now can not shed the unions due to labor laws. Foreign car companies successfully avoided unions and thus have an unfair advantage.

As far as executive compensation goes, yes, they are far too high in my opinion but, 500,000 artificially inflated union salaries have far more of a bottom line impact than all of the executive perks combined.

Lastly, if you look at the extra costs incurred by government regulations that only affect American manufacturers, you’ll see that the government has done even more damage to US companies. Chinese manufacturers can pollute all they want and then dump their parts in the US due to f’d up US laws.

Lie #3: “Who cares if we lose American car companies, Toyota, Honda, etc. are all made in America.”

Oh the ignorance of this one… American car companies build their cars from mostly American made parts. Yes, a portion of parts are foreign made (e.g in mexico) but, foreign car makers are usually 90% foreign parts. When you buy an ‘American Made Toyota’, you are buying an American ASSEMBLED toyota who’s parts have mostly come from japan and china. DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE MONEY LAUNDERING DONE BY FOREIGN COMPANIES!!!! That’s a topic for another post.

Lie #4: “We should let the car companies die. It won’t affect us”

1) I need to write a post about a service economy vs a manufacturing economy and how the service economy is basically a ponzi scheme but, that’s for a later post. Let me just say that no country ever grew economically on a service economy.

2) The Big Three ARE the war time manufacturers. We can not lose them or we lose our war manufacturing capacity. To all of you kooks out there that think that is a positive thing, fuck you, you’re idiots.

3) The job loss trickle effect will be staggering. We not only kill the car companies, we also kill their American suppliers. We could boot-out the foreign manufacturers and not be nearly as affected (because their parts are mostly foreign made).

I could go on and on about this but, it’s pissing me off too much so I’m going to end this here and maybe add more later.

The Turkey Interview, PT II

November 29, 2008

I can’t believe all of the kooks this story has brought out! Since it hasn’t died and since I am still receiving messages about this let me point out one GLARING FACT THAT NO ONE HAS MENTION (at least no one that I have heard)- SARAH PALIN WAS SET UP!

I can’t believe I’m having to explain this: The shot is clearly skew’d to one side as to put the slaughter ‘in frame’. The final angle of a shot is determined my the cameraman and producer. Palin had no idea that the slaughter was in the frame. She was clearly setup by the station’s news team.

For you Kool-Aid drinkers: There is NO WAY a politician would request a shot like that. Palin was setup by the news team.
